The Active Older Adult (AOA) program offers a wide variety of group exercise classes that are designed and recommended for adults age 55 and over. These classes include: Aquafit, Aqua Yoga, Chair Yoga, Cycling, Funky Fitness, Gentle Yoga, Light Weight Workout, Pilates, Shape Up, Steppin’ EZ, Strength Training, Zumba Gold and Zumba Gold Chair.
AOA instructional classes include Grandparent & Tot Swim, Line Dancing, Novice & Intermediate Swim, Tap and Beginner Tap Dancing.
There are also various special events including day trips, holiday parties, guest speakers and other opportunities for learning, socializing and making new friends. Among these are the AARP Driver Safety Program and Book of the Month Club.
