Flowers in front of Sneads High School
Reader CommentsThe Greatest School Ever Posted 3/16/2005 11:08:10 PM by Stephanie Dean Cook The flowers are just as great as my memories at SHS. The memories will always be with me and my heart. Hurricane Lillies
Posted 2/1/2007 1:12:39 PM by Renee I've always heard of these flowers as "Hurricane Lillies". They bloom during hurricane season, they are red and their peddles have tiny stems that come off the ends resembling a spinning hurricane with a solid in the middle representing the eye. They are on a tall stem with no leaves representing "sky high". They are really neat little plants and they come back every year. They are a bulb plant.
