If you will check, I think that you will find that "Peacock's Care" while no longer in operation, is actually in Grand Ridge, rather than Sneads--it is actually within the city limits of Grand Ridge. Just wanted to help you keep things straight!

Sneads High Class of '84
Posted 8/7/2007 12:07:38 PM by Christian Grosch

I spent a year in Sneads as an exchange student from Germany and graduated in '84. I now live in South Africa, so it'll be a few days before I get to the US again. Anyone still around from that year ?

What's it like

What's is like living in Sneads? Are there places to work? Thinking about moving there.

I grew up in Sneads and I never really appreciated it until I moved away and had children of my own. There are so many memories of lazy summer days on the river, fishing with my family, acting crazy with my friends and getting into innocent trouble :) My boys spend the summer visiting my parents and they would never leave if they didn't have to. It seems that every time I go back "home" that the town is getting a little bigger, litte more busy and a little more populated...which makes me sad...I would love for it to keep its small, sleepy, coutry town feel!!!
